UTV Motion Pictures has locked July 13 as the worldwide release date for Anurag Basu's much-awaited Barfee! , starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Telugu star Ileana D'Cruz. Barfee! narrates the story of a young, cute but shrewd man whom girls adore. He is deaf and dumb, and like a Chalu Chaplin , a press statement from the production company said. Priyanka plays an autistic girl in the film, while Ileana, on her Bollywood debut, features as a translator and her character spans about 50 years. It is a romantic-comedy which has been set in 1970s. My character is very fun-loving (awaara types)," Ranbir had told IANS.
