Gone are the days when it was argued that he had two left feet. The National Award winning actor has actually let go of his inhibitions and tried a full-fledged chalu number; the words of which go Chalao Na Naino Se Baan Re .

Ajay is still not as proficient a dancer as Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar or Shahid Kapoor but he realises a complete Bollywood actor is one who can sing, dance, laugh and cry with equal ease. Taking it up as a challenge he has brought out his dancing shoes and is giving the BB ditty his best.

Raju Khan, who choreographed the song, says, "There has been a major growth in Ajay Devgn as a dancer. Unlike earlier years where he was very shy, today he's absolutely confident.

He is well versed with dancing and can grasp steps quickly. Also having worked with him for over a decade now, I am well familiar with his body language.

I know what will go down well with his personality and what will not suit his persona. For this particular number with Asin, I gave him steps that would be in perfect sync with his character in the film.

It is a very dehati number and thus came up with steps that were just perfect for him. I have also observed that Ajay's facial expression and the energy he exudes from his eyes make up for the limitations he may have as a dancer.

Today, he has realised that dancing is an integral part of our films and one has option but to do it. And he has mastered the art over the years.

" Ajay himself is too modest to speak of his 'achievements' as a dancer. "Well I have tried", he laughs, adding, "Actually, in the Golmaal title tracks and even in All The Best; there have been small attempts by me to match steps with my co-actors.

Rohit Shetty visualises his songs and dances in a very grand way. Working with him I have realised the importance of just letting go.

In Chalao Na, I have gone many steps forward. I enjoyed what I did.
