The film spans three eras - 1910, 1960 and 2012 - and makes you believe in happily-ever-after stories. Strictly with reference to the film, we ask them how long after a break-up would they wait to find a new love.

Surprisingly, both actors have similar thoughts. Says Shahid, "I don't think there can be a time frame on how long one should wait.

If you have broken up with someone and you are sure, there's no harm in getting into another relationship soon enough. No one plans on falling in love.

You may break up in the afternoon, and be attracted to someone else in the evening. The emotion just hits you like a meteor.

I have always heard love in blind, but I think it is also deaf and dumb. It takes over your life, sometimes when you least expect it to.

" Priyanka says, "If you're sure that one relationship is over, you can move on immediately. Life is complicated and relationships are complex.

Even when you are nursing a broken heart, you find love staring you in the face again. So what? Just because you've had one bad experience, you are not going to shut the door.

There are no rules in love. It's brash, it's got attitude, it stares at you out of nowhere.

" When asked why they chose to do "TMK", Shahid says, "I've grown up on love stories like "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak" and " Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge ". And while I never courted the image of a lover boy, I've got compliments for " Jab We Met " and " Vivaah ".

" PC interrupts, "I've been dying to do a good love story for a while. My last films, " Don 2 " and " Agneepath ", didn't have too much love happening.
