Then, it was Mahie Gill who was offered the role and very recently, it was Rakhi Sawant who claimed to have finally bagged the lead role. Now, we get to hear that a Delhi-based director has jumped on to the Bhanwari Devi movie bandwagon.

Rakesh Saini, who is making the movie titled "Bhanwari Ka Jaal", says that he has even started shooting in Mumbai. He shares, "We have roped in Saadhika Randhawa to play the role of Bhanwari, Sudesh Berry for MLA's role, Karamveer Mahipal for Mahipal Maderna's role, Upasana Singh for Indira Bishnoi and Pakistani comedians - Ali Hassan and Irfan Malik to play police officers.

" Jodhpur-based producer, Ranjeet Sharma , who is producing this movie says that the team has already taken a go ahead from Bhanwari's husband, Amarchand. Sharma says, "We met Amarchand and sought permission to make a movie on the life of his wife and he agreed.

" To make it real, the director has already shot at Bhanwari's home near Jodhpur. Sharma, says, "We have shot a few scenes in Mumbai and now, we will be coming to Jaipur and Jodhpur to shoot other sequences.

We even plan to shoot at the CBI office, the jail where Mahipal Maderna is and the hospital where Bhanwari worked. We have taken permission from the home secretary for the same.

" When asked about various other directors claiming to make a movie on Bhanwari, Sharma replied, "Yeh saare log toh abhi baat hi kar rahe hain, I have even started the shooting and will release the movie in July." (less)
