She was asked to star in director Abhishek Kapoor's next film. The actress was extremely keen on being a part of the movie.

Reason? It was with Abhishek's earlier film Rock On that she had stepped into Bollywood from the small screen. Says a source, "Prachi couldn't give dates for the film because she is busy with one film with Abhishek Bachchan and another with John Abraham.

Juggling dates was ruled out as it was just not working out." Moreover Prachi's eagerness to be part of the film was because the film is set in the backdrop of Gujarat from where she hails from.

Adds the source, "She not only had a connect with the director but with the setting of the story as well. Prachi was looking forward to work with Gattu (Abhishek Kapoor) again as Rock On had been a memorable experience for her.

" Meanwhile, Gattu has waited quite a while for this project to take off. Initially it was announced with Farhan Akhtar as an actor and producer but later there was buzz that another production house would back the project.
